BOARD ADMINISTRATOR
Russell Township seeks applicants for a full–time Board Administrator. This position will report to the Township Trustees. The Board Administrator serves as liaison for the Board of Trustees; Advises trustees on issues; Communicates with residents, businesses, attorneys, and government officials; Advises the trustees on compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, ethics, public record laws; Prepares township agendas, resolutions, motions, and correspondence, ensuring completeness and accuracy; Represents trustees at meetings; Participates in budgetary and policy making meetings, and confidential/executive sessions; Serves as Communications and Social Media Administrator; responsible for all publications on the township website, township social media platforms, and e-mail newsletters; Coordinates township facility reservations for public and internal use.
Qualifications include completion of secondary education or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred; five (5) years’ experience in performance of advanced clerical tasks or office administration; ability to work quickly and accurately; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, valid Ohio driver’s license & insurability under township’s insurance policy.
