Current Work Status: Community Room:
Most of the bathroom and counter area tiling is complete; the floor vinyl tile has started and is on the schedule for next week, too; the Event Room light fixtures are installed (ooh, I like the light fixtures - very chic) and the parking space bumper blocks have been installed.

Coming up on the construction agenda is more tiling, more flooring, floor boxes, plumbing fixtures, and AV/IT work.

Most of the painting is complete; the ceiling fans are installed; and most of the lighting fixtures are in.The gutters, downspouts, exterior doors, and light poles are all installed.

The framing, retaining wall, storm piping, & parking lot base are all finished. This week the insulation will be inspected, drywalling begins, and we await the delivery of windows and doors.

Update on the New
Community Building Construction:

The Community Building, located south of the Township Administration Building at 8501 Kinsman Road, will have an Event Hall of approximately 1,700 square feet.

The Event Hall will be available to reserve for rental, and it will be an open space intended to accommodate different types of events.

Wi-fi will be available along with multiple large monitors/screens for audio/video presentations or displays.

One wall will have a countertop and sink available.

Two individual restroom facilities will be near the main entrance.

A paved terrace will be to the west of the building. 

Current Community Building status:
The framing is well underway.

The asphalt shingle roof is on.

We are waiting for windows and doors to arrive.

The sneak peek of the interior roofline photos look quite attractive!

The township trustees have named the new facility...

Current Community Building status: The concrete floor went in a couple of weeks ago and the framers started this week. What a difference walls make! The trustees are purchasing furniture and considering a name for the new facility.

Current status: When the rain stops it will be time to prepare for and pour the concrete slab.
